• Shift: 8-hour evening shifts, Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
• Hours per Week: 37.5 guaranteed
• Weekend Rotation: Every 4th weekend
• Setting: Large hospital, 400 beds
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1920–$2060

Radiology Technician Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Radiology X-Ray Technician
• Current BLS certification
• Active NYSDOH License (ARRT) – New York radiology jobs
• De-Escalation training (Welle, CPI, PMC S, or NAPPI)
• Flu vaccination required (religious/medical documentation accepted)

Radiology X-Ray Technician Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-Ray procedures as directed by physicians
• Operate GE imaging equipment and utilize EPIC charting system
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care
• Maintain strict safety standards and infection control protocols
• Participate in weekend rotations and adapt to flexible shift schedules
• Apply de-escalation techniques to promote a safe healthcare environment for patients and staff
