Accounts Receivable Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Accountant to manage incoming payments and maintain accurate financial records. This is an excellent company near High Point with a great team culture. This role is essential to ensuring timely collections, resolving discrepancies, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and send customer invoices based on contract terms and delivery schedules.

• Monitor accounts to identify outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments.

• Apply incoming payments to customer accounts and reconcile discrepancies.

• Maintain accurate records of all receivables transactions in the accounting system.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues and ensure proper documentation.

• Prepare aging reports and assist with cash flow forecasting.

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to receivables.

• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.

• Handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality and integrity.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support the finance department.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

• 2–4 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and receivables processes.

• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.

• Skilled in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This is an immediate need so applicants must be available to start immediately.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
