Custodial Technician, 2nd Shift, Up to $22/hour

West Herr Auto Group in Buffalo, NY needs to hire a Custodial Technician who will report to the Facility Manager/Maintenance Manager and is responsible for general cleaning of the exteriors and service bays. In this full-time role, you will perform general custodial duties related to the maintenance and cleaning of assigned buildings and facilities and perform a variety of tasks related to the assigned area of responsibility.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable custodial worker to help maintain a clean and safe environment. This position is essential to keeping our buildings and service bays compliant with high standards of cleanliness.

This role is for the 2nd shift, from 4:00 pm to 12:30 am.

Key Responsibilities - Custodial Technician:

• Assist in cleaning duties.  Primary duties will include:
  • Power washing exteriors.
  • Window cleaning.
  • Service bay cleanings – walls and floors.
• Follow cleaning protocols and procedures in accordance with industry standards.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as power washers, floor scrubbers, and man lifts.
• Address any maintenance issues related to cleanliness promptly.
• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and other personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

 
Minimum Qualifications:

1. Education & Experience:
   
   
• High school diploma required.
• 1 - 3 years of custodial experience.
  
  
2. Technical Skills:
   

1. • Ability to work well under time constraints.
   • Ability to use a power washer.

• Ability to use a floor scrubber.
• Ability to use a man lift.
• Ability to pull a trailer behind a vehicle.
  
  
1. Licensing & Physical Requirements:
   
   

• Valid New York Driver's License required; Commercial Class B license preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
