Housekeeping Houseperson- Full Time- Marriott Renaissance Allentown

As a House Person, you’ll be an essential part of our housekeeping team, ensuring public spaces and support areas remain clean, organized, and ready to welcome guests.

• Pay: $15/hour.
• Daytime shifts with weekend availability required.
• Must pass criminal background check. 

Your Role:

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of public areas, hallways, and back-of-house spaces.
• Assist with delivering linens, towels, and supplies to housekeeping staff.
• Remove trash, clean floors, and restock amenities in common areas.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks such as replacing lightbulbs or moving furniture.
• Respond promptly to guest and team requests, ensuring a positive experience for all.
• Assist with deep-cleaning projects and other duties assigned by management.

What We’re Looking For:

• A motivated individual who takes pride in their work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., push carts, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols.

Skills/Abilities:

• Must have vision ability to see minute debris and dirt in poorly lit areas, and to read written instructions and computer print-outs.
• Must have upper body strength to lift up to 50lbs. continually throughout an 8 hour shift.
• Must have finger, hand and upper body dexterity to push, pull and move levers, equipment and furniture throughout 8 hour shift.
• Must be able to work with arms raised above head throughout an 8 hour shift.
• Must be able to maneuver fully loaded maid cart, weighing up to 50lbs., through hallways and into/out of closets during entire work day.
• Must be able to understand and follow verbal/written instructions and communicate both verbally and in writing.
