Parts Coordinator, Deforest Fleet Services (DeForest, WI, US, 53598)

Pay Range: $19.15 to $26.80 
Shift: Daytime

Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.

Kwik Trip, Inc. operates a new Truck Maintenance Shop, located in Deforest, WI.  The Fleet Maintenance Department has a team of 20 co-workers responsible for maintaining the vehicles operated by Kwik Trip.  Our facility maintains our modern fleet of gasoline, diesel, and natural gas power equipment which includes: Class 8 tractors, petroleum tankers, multi-temp refrigeration units, light trucks and automotive equipment.  Our state-of-the-art shop is equipped with truck and automotive hoists, quality tooling and safety equipment, and is natural gas compliant.

Responsibilities:

• Properly order, receive, store, and issue parts
• Check vendor packing slips / invoices for accuracy
• Issue parts received to open work orders
• Ensure parts are in proper location
• Assist parts / service warranty claims
• Research part numbers and descriptions in the parts manual

Qualifications: 

• At least 2 years of Truck or Automotive parts experience is preferred but not required
• Excellent computer skills
• Strong organizational skills
• High customer service standards
• Ability to work well alone, as well as part of a team
• Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment
• Understand inventory control measures
• Ability to analyze data and make recommendations
• Possess a valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Willingness to live in close proximity to La Crosse, WI 

The following skills are not required but are a plus: knowledge of TMT Software and/or Parts Inventory System; flat rate and time management measures; Volvo, Kenworth, Cummins, and Thermo King/Carrier refrigeration parts experience.
