JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Penn State Brandywine’s Counseling Services office is seeking a part-time graduate counseling practicum student for Spring 2025.
Job DutiesTypical job duties include, but are not limited to:Provides individual and group counseling to students.
Provides outreach workshops and programming to campus community.
Maintains up-to-date clinical documentation via our electronic recordkeeping system.
Consults with supervisors and staff as needed.
Acts as a liaison between client and campus or community resources as needed.
Represents the department at campus events as needed.
Interacts with staff and students in a professional and ethical manner.
Participates in supervision and training with an openness to learning and receiving feedback.
Collaborate with student clubs to develop mental health programming.
Candidate must be working toward completion of a graduate degree in counseling or related field.
Hours for this opening are typically scheduled between 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, up to 10 hours per week. For full consideration, please submit a completed application, resume and cover letter.
BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
