Summary

Seeking experienced 1st Class Aluminum Shipfitters for a shipyard environment. Candidates must have strong aluminum fitting and fabrication skills, including layout, cutting, measuring, fitting, and working from blueprints.

Must-Haves

• 3+ years of shipfitting or marine fabrication experience
• Experience fitting and fabricating aluminum structural components
• Ability to read blueprints, sketches, and templates
• Skilled in layout, measuring, cutting, fitting, and alignment
• Experience using grinders, saws, and other fabrication tools
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
• Ability to pass a hands-on skills test

Preferred

• 5+ years of marine/shipyard experience
• Previous aluminum vessel construction experience
• Tack welding experience
• Experience working with hulls, frames, bulkheads, and other structural components
