Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for general employee inquiries, providing accurate information or directing to the appropriate HR team member.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, both digital and physical, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Assist with the full recruitment lifecycle, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and preparing offer letters.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding processes, including orientation, paperwork completion, and system access.
  • Support benefit administration tasks, such as enrollment assistance and answering basic questions.
  • Assist with payroll support activities, ensuring data accuracy for processing.
  • Contribute to positive employee relations by helping to interpret company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of HR reports and presentations as needed.

Recommended Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of progressive experience in a Human Resources role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Solid understanding of basic HR principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, UKG/Kronos, Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proven ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting payroll or benefits administration.
  • Familiarity with federal and state employment laws.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) or working towards one.
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with employees at all levels.
