Job Title: Data Scientist Location: Charlotte, NC /Kennesaw, GA Work Arrangement: Hybrid Client Industry: Banking/Finance Duration: 12 – 18 months CTH About the Role We are hiring an Data Scientist to join our client on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the most innovative Banking companies in the U.S. What We’re Looking For Proven experience with Python, including Pandas and NumPy for data analysis and feature engineering. Strong knowledge of Agile tools, such as Jira. Experience with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, particularly in NLP and Generative AI. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Day to Day: Develop and optimize Generative AI solutions using open source and proprietary APIs. Implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and embedding models for various applications. Build and integrate APIs (REST, FastAPI, Flask) for serving AI models. Fine-tune and optimize open source LLM/SLM models. Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality AI solutions. Work within Agile methodologies to ensure timely project delivery. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Compensation Hourly Rate: $60 - $70/hr This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
