General Manager
Allentown, PA area
Travel Requirement: 1 week per month to customers/distributors

Overview
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven General Manager to lead our division. This role carries a strong emphasis on strategic growth/increasing sales opportunities, and carries full profit and loss (P&L) responsibility. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for driving business success.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer service and operational efficiency
• Manage financial performance, budgeting, and cost control
• Lead problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
• Promote a safe, productive, and positive work environment
• Manage a team of 5-6
• Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow the business unit

Strategic Contributions

• Align divisional goals with corporate objectives
• Launch and oversee new initiatives and product development
• Develop marketing plans and coordinate promotional materials
• Manage quoting processes and OEM/distributor relationships
• Represent the division at trade shows and industry events

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to interpret technical documentation and business regulations

• Visionary leadership and team mobilization

Experience and Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred, applicable experience may be considered for substitute
• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant industry (hydraulics)
• Experience having responsibility over a P&L of at least $5 M. Ideally, within the range of $10m-$30m)
