Essential Functions

As a Part-Time Marketplace Clerk, you are essential to ensuring our customers have a pleasant shopping experience and that our store runs smoothly. You may be asked to assist in various departments, including the deli, produce, and front-end. Your responsibilities will include:

• Customer Service Excellence: Provide premier customer service, including warmly greeting customers, assisting with questions, and making suggestions to enhance their shopping experience.
• Merchandising & Stocking: Diligently fill service and display cases, rotate product within date, and ensure product is displayed correctly to maintain freshness and visual appeal.
• Operational Support: Assist with cashier duties (if needed/trained), process light product handling, and support team members in different areas of the store.
• Cleanliness & Maintenance: Maintain a clean work area, including sweeping and mopping sales areas and stock rooms to ensure a safe and inviting environment.

Qualifications

To be a Part-Time Marketplace Clerk at Pellicano's, you should have:

• At least 18 years of age
• 1+ year of customer service experience (preferred).
• A reliable and dependable work ethic; ability to follow directions.
• Strong communication skills, an outgoing, and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to perform repetitious activities, multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Must have flexibility to work varied hours/days as business dictates, including weekends, evenings, and some holidays.
• Must be able to lift/carry products as needed.
