Pole Dance Instructor

We are seeking a dynamic and motivating Pole Dance Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience teaching students of all levels, from beginner to advanced, in a safe and supportive environment. The instructor will lead both group classes and private lessons, helping students build confidence, strength, and flexibility through the art of pole dance.

Responsibilities

• Teach and demonstrate fundamental pole dance techniques, including spins, climbs, floor work, and inversions.
• Lead pre-designed or custom-created pole fitness classes for various skill levels.
• Provide clear instruction and hands-on spotting to ensure students maintain proper form and practice safely.
• Create engaging choreography and routines for classes and special events.
• Motivate and encourage students throughout the session, helping them to achieve their fitness goals and build confidence.
• Ensure the studio is clean, safe, and welcoming, including setting up and putting away equipment.
• Manage basic administrative duties, such as checking students in and handling sales, as needed.
• Assist with the promotion of classes and workshops on social media or in person.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience teaching group fitness, dance, or personal training is preferred.
• Pole Expertise: Must have comprehensive knowledge of pole dancing techniques and a minimum of [1-2+] years of personal pole dance experience.
• Certification: Relevant fitness or pole instructor certification is required (e.g., XPERT Pole Fitness or other recognized organization).
• Safety Training: Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification is required.
• Availability: Must be available for evening and weekend classes.

This is a commission based positon
