Now Hiring: Travel Pathology Assistant
Location: Saranac Lake, NY
Schedule: 13 Weeks, M-F Day Shift (7:30a – 4p); every other weekend and every other holiday expected

Key Responsibilities:
• Supports Pathologists by performing gross examinations, dissecting, and preparing surgical and post-mortem specimens for microscopic analysis and diagnosis
• Describe tissue features, submit tissue samples for further testing, assist in autopsies, and maintaining lab records and equipment
• Prepare tissues for microscopic examination by dissecting them, taking samples, placing them in cassettes, and submitting them for processing into slides
• Perform frozen sections and provide rapid, on-the-spot feedback to surgeons during surgery about tumor presence at surgical margins
Qualifications:
• Active Pathologist Assistant license in New York
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Pathologist Assistant Program
• Minimum 1 year of experience required, and 1 Travel Assignment completed
• Required experience in Surgical Pathology, Histology, Cytology, General, and Autopsy Pathology
• Current AHA BLS certification is required
