Key Responsibilities

• Perform duties on construction projects (usually working in a utility capacity)
• Transferring tasks depending on the demands required by the project
• Ability to understand and execute task with minimal supervision
• Use your knowledge in the construction industry to complete job functionality
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs individually or work with a team lift for additional weight
• Utilize basic hand tools to complete tasks at hand.
• Utilize small hand and power tools effectively and efficiently.
• Properly and effectively operate mechanical hammers
• Commercial level Rebar Tying
• Assembling 4 to 8 foot concrete panels
• Assembling forming systems
• Concrete Forming
• Erecting Scaffolding properly, effectively, and efficiently
• Spreading concrete into hard to reach sections of forms using proper concrete tools
• Position, align, and seal pipe sections
• Experience using floats, trowels, and screeds to smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete floors, walls, sidewalks or curbs
• Shaping materials to prescribed measurements using saws, chisels, and planes
• Cutting and shaping materials and fasten them together with nails, screws, ETC.
• Preparing layouts, determine quantity sizes, shapes, and locations of reinforcing rods from sketches or oral instructions
