In-House Traveler / RN Behavioral Health - Full-time / Part-time

The hourly rate of pay is $65/hr.

Get to Know Your Team:

• Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is a 99-bed community-owned facility offering 24-hour emergency services, cardiology, general surgery, orthopedics, diagnostic imaging, withdrawal stabilization, wound care and urology.

• Committed to a 12 consecutive week assignment
• Assigned to a specific unit, but due to fluctuating census, could be pulled to another unit or HHS facility
• Scheduled for a minimum of 36 hours per week or 72 hours per pay period, including a minimum of six weekend shifts in a six-week schedule period (where applicable)
• Complete hospital/nursing/computer orientation and credentialing with minimal unit orientation
• Required to work holidays during their agreement period
• Expected to work all scheduled shifts as assigned unless cancelled by the Staffing Office, department manager, and/or House supervisor
• Expected to participate in all mandatory education
• Evaluated by and held accountable for performance based on the standard hospital job descriptions for their respective position 
• Expected to comply with all HHS policies, procedures, and patient care standards

Job Requirements:

• Associate's degree in nursing (ADN)
• Current, valid, and unrestricted Oklahoma license or multi-state licensure as Registered Nurse
• Minimum of one (1) year recent (within the last two years) hospital experience in the selected area
• NOT have had employment with Hillcrest Healthcare System within the preceding six months unless an exception is made by the Director of HR and CNO and approved by the regional VP of HR
• Satisfactory completion of the interview process, including background and reference checks, and post-offer physical and urine drug screen
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Appropriate certifications as required, dependent upon the area

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)

In-House Travelers acknowledge that this is a temporary employment assignment and are not eligible for benefits except those mandated by law. The In-House Traveler is ineligible for all differentials, including critical staffing premiums.
