We're hiring a Principal Embedded Software Engineer for a growing company working on meaningful, mission-driven technology.

★ What You'll Do

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of embedded software for real-time systems.
• Architect and implement software solutions for both new development and legacy systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, systems, and program management.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices across the software team.
• Troubleshoot complex embedded systems and support testing at offsite facilities.
• Participate in regular software team meetings and contribute to strategic technical decisions.

★ What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 12+ years of embedded software development experience, including leadership roles.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and experience with RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, Embedded Linux).
• Familiarity with digital signal processing, device drivers, and low-level programming.
• Experience with communication protocols (CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet).
• Knowledge of IP networking, cryptography, and RF systems is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers).
• Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
