Property and Facilities Assistant

Position Description: Outdoor adventure and a mission you can be proud of!
This hands-on role ensures that cabins, lodges, activity areas, pool, wooded environments, and pastures are safe, well-maintained, and ready for campers, staff, and volunteers.

What Youll Do\tPerform maintenance and repair tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, pool care, and grounds keeping.
\tOperate hand tools, power tools, and potentially heavy equipment safely.
\tAssist with camp opening/closing projects and preventative maintenance schedules.
\tKeep accurate records of inventory, maintenance, and repairs.
\tMonitor safety, gates, and signage; report issues to the Property and Facilities Specialist.
What Were Looking For
\tHigh school diploma or GED preferred.
\tExperience in property, building, and outdoor facility maintenance.
\tMechanical skills and experience with hand/power tools; willingness to learn heavy equipment and pool care.
\tStrong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
\tMust be 21 or older with a valid, unencumbered drivers license and proof of insurance.
\tAvailability for occasional evenings, weekends, or overtime.
\tMembership in Girl Scouts required (at hire).
Someone who enjoys working in the great outdoors with constant exposure to year-round, outdoor weather conditions including low to high temperatures, humidity, wind, precipitation, and who has the ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.Why Join Us
