Vocational Instructor – Shaping the Next Generation of Skilled Trades
Schedule: Monday–Friday (daytime hours, with occasional evenings as needed)

What You’ll Do
Teach and mentor students in your trade through hands-on demonstrations and classroom instruction
Design engaging lesson plans, activities, and assessments that reflect real-world industry standards
Track student progress, offering constructive feedback and support to help them succeed
Maintain accurate records of attendance, evaluations, and certifications
Ensure training spaces, tools, and equipment are safe, organized, and ready for use
Stay current with industry trends, certifications, and best practices
Create a respectful, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
Collaborate with colleagues to support student success and career readiness
What You Bring
Minimum Requirements:
Associate degree in a related field OR 5+ years of hands-on trade experience
Valid certification or license in your trade (if required by industry/state)
Strong communication, organizational, and instructional skills
Ability to connect with learners from diverse backgrounds and skill levels
Basic computer skills for record-keeping and instructional tools
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous teaching, training, or mentoring experience in a vocational/technical setting
OSHA, NCCER, or other industry-recognized certifications
Bilingual skills (a plus, but not required)
