Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Dickinson, North Dakota.

LDRP RN – (Critical Access Hospital)

Contract: 13 weeks

Shift: 3x12s, rotating days/nights
Schedule: Every 3rd weekend, holidays as needed
Hours: 36/week

Unit Details:

• Department: Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP)
• Beds: 4 L&D, 7 postpartum
• Ratios: Labor 1:1–2, Postpartum 1:2–3 (follows AWHONN guidelines)
• Common Diagnoses: >35 weeks in labor, mom/baby couplets
• Charge Nurse: Present on every shift
• EMR: Meditech
• Equipment: Neonatal vent, CPAP, BiPAP, high flow; OB Trace Vue fetal monitoring
• Orientation: 3 shifts (12 hrs each)
• Scrubs: Provided
• Float: May float to MedSurg or ED for 1:1 sitter duties

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years L&D
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP
• Must be able to titrate drips (Magnesium, Oxytocin, etc.)
• Must pass fit testing — facial hair not permitted (failure = contract canceled)
• Radius rule: 50 miles;
• RTO: ≤7 days per 13-week contract (must be listed at submission)

Environment:

• Small rural hospital, >1 hour from nearest NICU
• Limited services; teamwork, independence, and strong communication are key
• Surgery handles C-sections — L&D RNs circulate for baby only
