We’re looking for a detail-oriented Aircraft Avionics Technician to join our expanding team. If you enjoy hands-on work, technical problem-solving, and collaborating with other aviation professionals, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair avionics systems in Cirrus and other general aviation aircraft.
• Build, terminate, and test custom wiring harnesses for Garmin, Avidyne, and related systems.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and installation manuals accurately.
• Perform 14 CFR 91.411 and 91.413 pitot-static and transponder certifications in accordance with FAA requirements.
• Conduct system checks, calibrations, and functional testing of avionics components.
• Modify and upgrade existing aircraft wiring and avionics configurations as needed.
• Interface directly with avionics customers to provide updates, explain work performed, and ensure exceptional service.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with FAA Part 145 Repair Station requirements.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure timely project completion and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Desired 2 years of avionics installation or repair experience (Cirrus experience preferred).
• Proficient in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and pinout charts.
• Skilled in building and testing wiring harnesses and performing continuity checks.
• Experience performing pitot-static and transponder testing and certification (91.411/91.413).
• Familiarity with Garmin and/or Avidyne avionics systems strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of general aviation maintenance practices and FAA regulations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
