Line Cook Cafe Breakfast/Lunch

We are seeking a skilled and passionate professional Line Cook that take pride in his/her work to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in Breakfast/Lunch and/or catering environments. All team members must be highly organized and have the ability/desire to work fast and clean. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly focusing on quality and presentation while adhering to food safety standards.

Duties include but not limited to:
-Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
-Keep a clean, organized and well stocked station at all times, communicating and executing prep recipes as needed and as directed.
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling and storage practices.
-Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
-Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
-Follow all health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
-Utilize knife skills effectively for meal preparation and presentation.
-Execute all dishes with the highest integrity, working as a team to ensure company standards are met

Qualifications
-Proven experience in a line cook or similar role within the food industry, preferably in fine dining or catering settings.
-Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation.
-Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
-Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with the ability to multitask efficiently.
-Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
