Shift: Days, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM - 40 Hour Guarantee // SBL OR will designate (1) late person per shift to stay late IF a case is running late.
Weekend Requirements: For Call Only / On Call Requirements: 5-6 Call Shifts Per Month
Work Experience:
- Surgical Technologist-First Assistants are responsible for performing at a competent level of technologist practice and according to the standards of practice for the area.
- Performs patient care and service through a multidisciplinary team approach.
- Provides assistance in emergency procedures as well as elective and scheduled cases.
- Functions to maintain an environment of caring and concern for patients and staff members according to principles of patient focused care and customer service.
- 1+ Years of First Assist Experience - Required
- Must be proficient in Ortho - specifically total joints, hip fx, arthroscopy, ORIFs, and shoulder scopes and replacements
- Proficient with the following: General, Neuro, Vascular, Gyn, and Urology - Required
- Must be proficient in Davinci robotics - Required
Certifications:
- BLS/CPR Certification.
- CSFA Certification - Required
- NBSTSA
