• Unit: Intermediate Care Unit (ICU) – General and Cardiac
• Assignment Type: Travel RN job

• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Unit Size: 12 beds
• Patient Ratio: 4:1
• Electronic Health Record: MEDITECH, MEDHOST
• Dress Code: Royal Blue Scrubs
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1780 - $1910

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license – Registered Nurse jobs in Kentucky
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• Cardiac care experience; ability to remove post-cath stents preferred
• Ability to float to Telemetry and Critical Care units
• Strong teamwork and positive attitude

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the ICU
• Monitor and assess patients with critical and cardiac conditions
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform advanced clinical procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop patient care plans
• Accurately document patient information in EHR systems
• Float to Telemetry and other critical care areas as needed
• Maintain compassionate, professional patient care standards
