About the Opportunity

Join a growing orthopedic and musculoskeletal care team serving patients across Connecticut and New York.
We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and deliver exceptional pre- and post-operative care.

This position offers exposure to both surgical and outpatient settings, professional growth opportunities, and a supportive, patient-centered work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories, physical exams, and diagnostic testing.

  • Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons to develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans.

  • Assist during orthopedic procedures and surgeries, ensuring patient safety and clinical efficiency.

  • Provide post-operative care: wound management, recovery monitoring, and follow-up assessments.

  • Perform joint injections, aspirations, and other in-office orthopedic procedures.

  • Educate patients and families about orthopedic conditions, recovery, and treatment options.

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests (X-rays, MRIs, labs) to support accurate diagnoses.

  • Maintain detailed and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR).

  • Support administrative tasks as needed (e.g., scheduling, coordination, documentation).

Qualifications

  • Active Physician Assistant (PA) license in Connecticut and/or New York (required).

  • 2+ years of experience in Orthopedics preferred — new graduates encouraged to apply.

  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work collaboratively with physicians and staff.

  • Willingness to travel between Danbury, CT and nearby NY locations (Mt. Kisco, Carmel, Fishkill, Newburgh).
