Maintenance Technician - $29+/hr DOE!

Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our food manufacturing client to start immediately at $29+/hr DOE!. Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!

Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Technician will perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on production and support equipment. You will help ensure minimal downtime, safe operations, and ongoing improvements to maintenance processes in a manufacturing environment. 

• Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance on machinery (e.g. conveyors, thermoforming machines, motors, pumps, air systems) 
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults 
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals 
• Diagnose root causes of machine failures and recommend improvements Fabricate, modify, or replace parts as needed (e.g. belts, gears, bearings) 
• Assist with installation, commissioning, and testing of new or upgraded equipment 
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, records, and reports 
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas 
• Work with operations, quality, and engineering teams to support continuous improvement efforts 
• Respond to emergency breakdowns when needed (though primary shift is set) 
• Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout protocols, and regulatory compliance 

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Schedule/Shift Details: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm

Qualifications:

Required: 

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• 3+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance 
• Solid mechanical aptitude and hands-on skillset 
• Proficiency in electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems 
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics 
• Experience with PLCs, motor controls, drives, etc. 
• Good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills 
• Strong safety mindset, familiarity with lockout/tagout and safe work practices 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Good communication skills 

Preferred / Nice to Have: 

• Vocational/technical degree or certificate in industrial maintenance or similar field 
• Welding, fabrication, or machining skills 
• Experience with extrusion, thermoforming, or PET processing equipment 
• Predictive maintenance experience (vibration, infrared, etc.) 
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. TPM, lean maintenance)
