Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Gas Pipe Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, inspecting, testing, maintaining, and repairing gas lines and related equipment for residential and commercial clients. This role requires a strong understanding of gas systems, adherence to safety protocols, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, inspect, test, maintain, and repair gas lines, gas appliances, and related equipment.
  • Check for gas leaks and troubleshoot problems related to gas appliances and equipment.
  • Ensure that gas installations comply with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Provide recommendations to customers regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of gas equipment and appliances.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment status.
  • Collaborate with team members and other trades to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Stay updated with industry developments and best practices related to gas systems.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in installing, inspecting, testing, maintaining, and repairing gas lines and related equipment.
  • Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations related to gas installations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
