Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience for a 13-week night shift contract at a Level III Trauma Center.

Details\n

\n
• Level III Trauma Center with 131 beds, working within the Ultrasound department
\n
• Patient population includes inpatient, outpatient, ER, procedures, and biopsies
\n
• Proficiency with OB, abdomen, thyroid, and general ultrasound exams required; vascular experience is not needed
\n
• Uses Epic EMR and PACS
\n
• 10-hour night shifts: Sunday and Saturday 7:30 PM–5:30 AM, Monday and Friday 9:00 PM–7:00 AM
\n
• 40 hours per week
\n
• Possible on-call requirements, though minimal
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound technologist experience
\n
• Current ARDMS certification and BLS required
\n
• License required if applicable
\n
• Competency with OB, abdominal, thyroid, and general sonography exams
\n
• Experience with Epic EMR and PACS preferred
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
\n
• One reference required at time of consideration; a second reference from a supervisor or above (Charge Nurse, Manager, Director, etc.) will be needed prior to start

• Any scrub color is acceptable
