Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Hospice for a travel nursing job in Peoria, Illinois.
Job Description & Requirements- Specialty: Hospice

BLS Certification Required. |
Department: Hospice | RN
- Required Certifications: BLS. Valid driver's license & insurance. RN license in IL.
- Common diagnoses, patient types, and demographics include end-of-life care, hospice, and home health.
- No respiratory therapy equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc.). - Experience or 'Must have' skills include being an independent worker who works remotely and has computer/EMR skills. - How many patients do they see each day? Do you require travelers to complete'start of care', recertifications, and daily visits? 4 - 5 visits per day. - Is there a Manager/Supervisor on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week? Charge nurse: No. - Do you employ Home Health/Hospital Aids? : Yes, one aide for every two registered nurses. - Shifts and Scheduling: 8 hours, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. - Weekend Requirements: Weekend call rotations vary depending on the number of staff; one every 4-5 weekends, including Saturday and Sunday. - Holiday Requirements: None. - Is there a call or standby requirement? 1-2 nights call per week. - Floating requirements: N/A - Scrub Color.
