Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) Job in Chamberlain, South Dakota | Acute Care OB Contract
\nTravel to Chamberlain, SD for a 13-week Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) contract in an acute care setting. This on-site nursing opportunity offers the chance to work in Med/Surg and OB nursing along the scenic Missouri River.

- Healthcare Setting: Acute Care / Med-Surg and OB \n
- Start Date: 7/13/2026 \n
- Contract Length: 13 weeks \n
- Hours Per Week: 36 \n
- Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts \n
- Schedule: Rotating day/night 12-hour shifts, every other weekend and holiday \n
- Call Requirement: 3 call shifts during the 13-week contract \n
- Charting System: EPIC \n

- Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience required \n
- At least 6 months of Med/Surg nursing experience within the past year \n
- At least 6 months of OB nursing experience within the past year \n
- Active RN license required; willing to wait for state license if needed \n
- BLS certification required before start \n
- ACLS certification required before start \n
- NRP certification required before start \n
- TNCC preferred \n
- PALS required \n
- Ability to float between OB and Med/Surg units \n
- Willingness to support postpartum patients on the Med/Surg floor; training available if needed \n
- Ability to function independently in the ER and function in the MS unit with up to 5 patients \n

- Work in Med/Surg and OB nursing and float between OB and Med/Surg units \n
- Support postpartum patient care as part of the Med/Surg floor responsibilities \n
- Document care in the EPIC charting system \n
- Float between assigned OB and Med/Surg departments based on staffing and patient care needs \n
- Participate in rotating day/night shifts, every other weekend and holiday coverage, and 3 call shifts during the contract \n
