American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool night shift position requiring a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience and an active CO or compact RN license.
Details\n- \n
- Float Pool placement within a Med/Surg unit specializing in spine, post-op burn, and flap patients \n
- 18–20 bed unit located on the 8th floor of the main building \n
- Patient ratio of 6:1 with LPN support \n
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM \n
- Night shift team includes 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 1 LPN, and 1–2 PCTs \n
- Equipment used includes Hoyer lifts, air mattresses, wound vacs, and PCA pumps \n
- EMR: Meditech \n
- 13-week contract \n

- Active RN license for Colorado (standard or compact) required \n
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment) \n
- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in Med/Surg or related specialty \n
- At least 1 year of acute care hospital Med/Surg experience required \n
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted \n
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months \n
- ACLS preferred \n
- Burn care experience preferred \n
- Wound care and ostomy care experience preferred \n

- Primary responsibilities include wound and dressing care for post-op burn and flap patients \n
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible \n
