Position OverviewAs a Supervisor, you will oversee daily staff activities in your assigned area, ensuring that our team delivers exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders. Your leadership will guide our staff in providing top-notch care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and supervise daily staffing assignments and levels.
- Provide direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
- Assist with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure quality of services delivered and facilitate staff development programs.
- Lead the resolution of complex issues and complaints.
- Maintain compliance with departmental and organizational policies.
- Perform staff responsibilities as needed to meet service levels.
- Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
- Education: Associate's Degree in a related field preferred (applicable work experience may substitute).
- Skills:
- Strong mathematical skills for data analysis.
- Moderate computer skills, including proficiency in email, word processing, and spreadsheets.
- Effective communication skills for training and presentations.
- Ability to solve routine business problems by following clear procedures.
This role is primarily office-based, with a well-lit and climate-controlled environment. However, you may also work in a hospital setting, where you could encounter various health and safety challenges. We prioritize your safety and provide necessary protective equipment.
Physical & Mental DemandsTo succeed in this role, you should be able to:
- Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
- Lift and/or move up to 20 pounds occasionally.
- Utilize repetitive motions for computer work.
- Have specific vision abilities, including close and distance vision.
