Operating within a high-volume, 290-bed regional acute care medical center, this role offers a stable, predictable weekday day schedule.   • Schedule: Day shifts, 5x8-Hours (07:00 AM - 15:30 PM), Monday through Friday. Guaranteed block scheduling formatting is required for this role!

  • On-Call & Weekend Requirements: Completely free from standard on-call obligations. The job description notes no weekend hours under the standard shift profile, balancing the unit's structural rotation. Ratios run stable at 1:1.

  • EMR Charting System: Epic experience is required.

  • Clinical Scope & Settings: Large hospital acute care delivery across multiple settings including Adult Acute Care, Outpatient Clinics, Emergency Department surges, ICU, NICU, Operating Room (OR), and Pediatric units.

  • Core Technical Competencies: Comprehensive diagnostic imaging management spanning abdomen/GI series (KUB, upright, decubitus), spine and pelvis lines, chest/thorax routines, upper airway soft tissue, and lower/upper extremities (including trauma positioning like Scapular Y and Transthoracic Axial views).

  • Surgical & Fluoroscopy Infrastructure: High proficiency handling C-Arm and O-Arm mobile surgical procedures is required. Diagnostic testing support covers fluoroscopy studies (Arthrography, Barium Swallows, Contrast Enemas, ERCP, Myelography, and Upper GI series).

  • Equipment & Professional Skills: Direct hands-on utilization of GE, Philips, and Siemens hardware alongside PACS network logging. Responsibilities include radiation safety compliance, isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media preparation/administration, and starting peripheral IVs.

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience as an X-Ray Tech. Must have strong, proven large hospital and Operating Room (OR) surgical imaging experience. Teaching or community hospital background is preferred.

  • Licensure: Valid Washington State Radiologist Shield/Allied License must be active and fully in-hand at the exact time of profile submission.

  • Certifications Required: Current ARRT (R) registration and an active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are completely mandatory to clear the portal filters.
