American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery float pool position in Worcester, MA, requiring AWHONN Intermediate certification and Epic experience.

- Labor & Delivery maternity float pool setting within a hospital environment \n
- Assignment requires rotating between L&D and Postpartum (Mother Baby) units \n
- Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15) \n
- 36 hours per week, with every other weekend and holiday coverage required \n
- Epic EMR experience required \n
- Patient population includes antepartum, labor and delivery, postpartum, and high-risk obstetric cases \n
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate \n

- Active MA RN license required; a pending MA license is acceptable at time of application, but the MA conditional (temp) license must be applied for within 48 hours of signing an offer \n
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate (or above) \n
- Minimum 1–2 years of L&D experience with travel experience; 3 years strongly preferred \n
- First-time travelers may be considered if coming from a teaching hospital with relevant experience \n
- Epic EMR experience required \n
- Required clinical skills include: IV therapy/phlebotomy, blood and blood product administration, labor and delivery management, C-section circulation and recovery, fetal monitoring (external and internal), use of IUPC, magnesium sulfate therapy, Pitocin administration, and hemorrhage/shock management \n
- Two references required for consideration, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher \n
- Candidates must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate \n
- \n
- Candidates will complete pass/fail medication and telemetry exams during orientation; each exam allows only one attempt, and a failed exam results in immediate contract cancellation — study materials are provided prior to and during orientation \n
- This is a union facility; no special scheduling accommodations can be made, and candidates must be available to work all 7 days of the week \n
- Candidates who have previously worked within the health system must have a 12-month separation before being eligible \n
- Up to 14 days of RTO may be submitted for review; no RTO is permitted during the first week of the assignment \n
- Candidates with prior disciplinary actions on their nursing license are not eligible for this position \n
- Pre-start online modules are required and take approximately 1–2 hours to complete \n
