Job Title: Machine Operator – 2nd Shift, Train on 1st Shift (Temp-to-Hire)

Location: Thomaston, CT

Position Summary:

A well-established manufacturing company in Thomaston, CT is seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Operator for 1st shift in a temp-to-hire role. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, production experience, and a strong focus on safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate production machinery
• Monitor equipment and perform basic adjustments as needed
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards
• Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, or job orders
• Meet production goals while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Assist with basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools and measuring devices
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment
