Director of Sales and Marketing - Now Hiring

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a Director of Sales and Marketing who comes from a manufacturing background. This is a direct hire opportunity with manufacturer of small mechanical components in Hicksville NY area. Pay up to $185,000 This top sales leader will be responsible for providing the vision and direction / management of all Sales and Business Development operations (both Domestic and Foreign) which includes both internal and external sales teams, applications engineering, customer service operations / Ecommerce, and operations. Education & Experience: B.S. in Engineering, Business or Marketing disciplines, MBA preferred. A minimum of ten (10) years as a Senior Level Sales Leader in a manufacturing or industrial company. Sales experience in aerospace, medical, and / or automation industries preferred. Proven experience with managing and directing all sales and business development operations (at both the strategic and operational levels), including market competitiveness, tactical sales, pricing, Ecommerce, and distribution channel strategy. Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management. Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations. Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts. Outstanding consultative selling abilities. Proven evangelical sales track record in a new product/new market environment. Experience with a specific sales methodology and sales funnel management. Sound administrative skills, well-developed management skills – principles and people. Proven ability to recruit, train, and motivate personnel to balance staffing strength with profitability and growth. Must have work authorization with the ability to travel up to 30%.
