Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 educational setting serving primarily 7th12th grade students. This role requires a commitment to supporting approximately 55 students with varied speech and language needs throughout the school day.
Location: Gilroy, CA
Position Type: Contract, 1.0 FTE (7 hours/day)
Contract Duration: Immediate start through May 29, 2026 (School Year 2025-2026), contingent on interview and LiveScan clearance
Work Hours: Vary by site, typically between 8:00 AM and 3:45 PM 
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy to students in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support student progress
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of assessments, sessions, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to develop appropriate educational goals
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology credential and CTC certification are required
- Must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with school-aged children in grades 7-12 preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 55 students effectively
- In-person presence required; candidates must be available to work on-site
- Note: This position does not include Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) responsibilities
