Schools - Physical Therapist

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A part-time Physical Therapist position is available to support K-12 students in a school setting. This contract role spans the academic year and involves delivering therapeutic services to help students improve physical functioning and participate fully in educational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy evaluations, treatments, and interventions to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs and goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and related documentation.
• Participate in meetings related to student services and educational planning.

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist qualified to practice in Texas.
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt treatment approaches to meet diverse student needs.
