Pharmacist in Joliet, MT

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract-to-hire opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist seeking a long-term role in a dynamic retail pharmacy setting. This position offers a chance for candidates willing to relocate to Billings, Montana, to engage in a full-time schedule offering Monday through Friday day shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and review medication orders ensuring accuracy, appropriateness, and patient safety.
• Prepare and package non-sterile medications; sterile compounding is not required.
• Assist with register duties, drive-thru services, and prescription data entry.
• Maintain compliance with store policies, state and federal regulations, and compounding standards as applicable.
• Oversee pharmacy technicians daily activities to ensure efficient workflow.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and clear Montana Pharmacist License (pending licenses considered; however, licensing costs are applicants responsibility).
• Current BLS certification.
• Immunization Certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience; strong new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with Liberty software preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment is advantageous.

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week, MondayFriday day shifts.
