Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring at least 1 year of OR experience across multiple service lines, including weekends and call coverage.

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting
\n
• Covers multiple service lines including General, Neuro, Ortho, and Robotics
\n
• Day shift schedule: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
\n
• Weekend availability required
\n
• Call responsibilities required
\n
• 13-week contract
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active RN license (SC or Compact) required
\n
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
\n
• Current ACLS certification (AHA only)
\n
• Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience
\n
• Flexibility to work across multiple surgical service lines required
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Responsibilities include circulating duties, prepping the OR, positioning and preparing patients, and completing Safe Surgery verification checklists
\n
• Serves as communication liaison between the surgical team and patient families
\n
• Delegates and supervises other team members while executing interventions in urgent or emergent situations
\n
• Assists in control and maintenance of supplies and equipment
\n
