American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a CA RN license, Epic EMR experience, and night shift availability with weekend requirements.
Details- Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting with 11 rooms and 15 beds
- High-risk OB patient population serving a culturally diverse community with an average daily census of 15–20 patients
- RNs circulate on cesarean sections
- Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (18:00–06:30)
- Weekend shifts required to meet staffing needs
- Floating required within scope to meet facility needs; travelers are first to float, including between all facilities within the state
- Epic EMR experience required
- 13-week contract
- Active CA RN license required; pending license not accepted
- Minimum 1 year of L&D nursing experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Postpartum experience preferred
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- RTO is limited to no more than 7 days for the duration of the assignment
- Former permanent staff of this Providence facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment
