American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring at least 1.5 years of OR experience across multiple surgical specialties, including ortho, general, neuro, vascular, and urology.
Details- Hospital-based Operating Room setting in Tyler, TX
- Evening shift: 14:30–23:00, Monday–Friday (5x8 hours)
- On-call responsibilities are required
- Surgical specialties include orthopedic, general, neuro, vascular, and urology cases
- Da Vinci robotic surgery, endovascular, and ophthalmic experience are a plus
- Epic EMR used; experience preferred
- 13-week contract
- Active TX RN license or compact RN license required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1.5 years of OR nursing experience required
- Experience in ortho, general, neuro, vascular, and urology surgical specialties required
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Candidates must reside outside of the following TX counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Travel pairs or groups will not be considered
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler
- No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved; no RTO during the first week of orientation
