American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Eureka, CA, requiring 1 year of L&D experience and Epic proficiency on a night shift schedule.
Details\n- \n
- Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting serving a high-risk OB and culturally diverse patient population \n
- Unit has 11 rooms and 15 beds with an average daily census of 15–20 patients \n
- RNs are expected to circulate on cesarean sections \n
- Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM \n
- Weekend shifts required to meet staffing needs \n
- Travelers are first to float within their scope of practice to meet facility needs, including across facilities within the state \n
- Epic EMR experience required \n
- 13-week contract \n

- Active CA RN license required; pending license not accepted \n
- Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience \n
- Epic EMR proficiency required \n
- Post-partum experience preferred \n
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting \n
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration \n

- First-time travelers are welcome to apply \n
- RTO is limited to no more than 7 days for the duration of the assignment \n
- Former permanent staff of this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility \n
- Candidates must disclose any prior work history with Providence facilities, including travel, permanent, or per-diem roles \n
