American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Magnet-designated Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital in Washington, DC, requiring active DC licensure and a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience.

- Labor & Delivery unit within a 228-bed Magnet-designated Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital \n
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:30 PM – 8:00 AM \n
- Every other weekend required \n
- Floating within scope required to meet facility needs \n
- No on-call responsibilities \n
- Charting systems include Centricity, Sorian, EDM, Lawson, and Kronos \n
- Scrubs are provided by the facility \n

- Active DC RN license required — pending licensure is not accepted \n
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring \n
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required \n
- Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration \n

- First-time travelers are welcome to apply \n
- Local candidates are accepted for this position \n
- RTO requests are limited to 1 during the contract period \n
- Parking is the clinician's responsibility; options include street metered parking, pre-paid hospital parking ($3.50/day, $17.25/week, or $69/month), or public transit via the Shaw/Howard University Metro stop (Green and Yellow lines) or bus routes 70, 71, 90, 92, and 96 \n
