American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a 13-week travel contract at a Level I Trauma teaching hospital, working night shifts with every-other-weekend requirements.

- Position is in the Neonatal ICU (NICU) of a Level I Trauma, academic teaching hospital with 228 staffed beds \n
- Patient ratio is 1:2–3 \n
- Floating may be required to the Postpartum unit \n
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:30 PM – 8:00 AM \n
- Every other weekend (EOW) required \n
- No on-call required \n
- Self-scheduling is available during a designated request period, subject to manager approval for schedule balance \n
- Charting is done in Cerner \n

- Active DC RN license required \n
- Current BLS and NRP certifications required \n
- Prior NICU nursing experience required \n
- Valid driver's license (DL) and Social Security card (SSN) required for consideration \n
- Two professional references required for consideration \n

- Scrub color required: Royal Blue \n
- Parking is the responsibility of the traveler; options include street meter parking, daily/weekly/monthly hospital parking passes, and public transportation via the Green and Yellow Metro lines \n
