Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract in Illinois, requiring an active IL RN license and a minimum of 2 years of OR experience.

• Operating Room (OR) setting within an acute care hospital environment
\n
• Schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week
\n
• On-call required as needed
\n
• Block scheduling requests cannot be accommodated
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active Illinois RN license currently in hand
\n
• Current BLS/BCLS and ACLS certifications required
\n
• Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience required
\n

• Assess patients to determine physical, mental, and spiritual needs prior to surgical procedures
\n
• Develops and implements individualized plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
\n
• Provides patient and family education and instructions related to care and procedures

• Maintains complete and accurate medical records

• Participates in continuing education as required
