One of the nation's largest diagnostic imaging centers, with more than 300 locations throughout nation, has an immediate need for an experienced Mammography Technologist. This company has a tremendous reputation for innovation and state of the art equipment in a modern and patient friendly setting.
\n Type: 13 week inital contract **very likely to be extended/long term
\n Schedule: 5x8 Day Shift- 8a-4p/9a-5p
\n Location: New City, NY
\n Responsibilities:
\n • Evaluates images for diagnostic quality, obtaining additional images as needed.
\n • Prepares and sets up medical supplies using aseptic techniques if appropriate.
\n • Explains procedures to patients.
\n • Prints film or burns CDs if warranted. Matches with the appropriate paperwork for interpretation.
\n • Performs other related duties incidental to the work therein.
\n • Produces high quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care.
\n • Treats patients and customers, including family members or care providers that may accompany the patient, with courtesy, professionalism and respect.
\n • Monitors patients' well-being during exam; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.
\n Requirements:
\n • NYS Licensed Mammography Tech
\n • ARRT (M) Certification
\n • Minimum 2 years of experience
Mitchell Martin Healthcare Job ID #26-07559. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
