$130,000 to $160,000
Overview:
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced SEC Reporting Manager to lead our external financial reporting function. This role is responsible for preparing and filing all SEC reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, etc.), ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and internal controls. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting knowledge, public company experience, and a deep understanding of SEC requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the preparation, review, and filing of all SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, S-1, and other filings

Coordinate with external auditors, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate filings

Research and implement new accounting standards and SEC regulations, and prepare technical accounting memos

Oversee XBRL tagging and compliance with EDGAR filing requirements

Maintain and improve the company's internal controls over financial reporting (SOX compliance)

Support investor relations with earnings releases, financial press releases, and presentations

Assist with quarterly earnings calls, analyst materials, and disclosure checklists

Collaborate with accounting, finance, legal, and compliance teams to ensure alignment across functions

Lead special projects such as M&A reporting, IPO readiness, or new accounting policy adoption
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA required)

5-7+ years of relevant experience, including Big 4 public accounting and/or public company financial reporting

Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC rules and regulations, and SOX compliance

Strong technical accounting and research skills

Experience with financial reporting software (e.g., Workiva, Oracle, NetSuite, BlackLine) and XBRL

Excellent project management, analytical, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
