Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 2 years of experience and State of Hawaii licensure for a varied shift assignment.
Responsibilities- Work in a diagnostic imaging setting with focus on radiography
- Varied shifts including day and evening coverage
- Average of 3 on-call days per month
- Must be willing to float to other nursing departments as needed
- Patient care includes a range of diagnostic radiology cases
- Utilizes Meditech EMR, Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, and Konica DR equipment
- 13-week contract assignment
- All travelers must report to Employee Health 48–72 hours before assignment start for clearance
- Candidates must arrive on island the Friday prior to a Monday start for HR and Employee Health appointments
- No guarantee of hours or time off
- Facility may terminate assignment for cause at its discretion
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a radiologic technologist
- Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required by assignment start date
- Current ARRT certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Demonstrated proficiency in operation of radiographic equipment
- Knowledge of radiation safety practices and protocols
- Must have a dosimeter badge
- Experience with Meditech EMR and specified imaging equipment preferred
- License required if applicable
