Service Assistant

Clayton Services is searching for a Service Assistant to join a thriving company in North Houston. The Service Assistant will be responsible for supporting the service department by managing billing processes, technician timesheets, and customer interactions, while providing administrative assistance to the Service Manager.

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $20.00-$22.00/hour

Service Assistant Responsibilities:

• Manage billing for assigned customer accounts, ensuring invoices are accurate and submitted on time.
• Pull technician time, assign work order numbers, and allocate time appropriately.
• Communicate with technicians to collect and verify work tickets.
• Prepare bi-weekly timesheets for payroll processing.
• Provide backup support for service administration in billing accounts.
• Assist with customer service for existing clients and support potential new customers.
• Ensure service sheets are created and maintained properly.
• Receive and execute daily assignments from the Service Manager.
• Perform additional administrative and operational tasks as directed.

Service Assistant Skills and Abilities:

• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems efficiently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Service Assistant Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of industry-related experience required.
