Job Description:

• We are seeking a proactive and experienced Maintenance Inventory Specialist for a temporary assignment.
• This role requires someone who can work independently and take ownership of inventory-related tasks within a maintenance environment.
• The ideal candidate would ensure accurate and efficient tracking of parts and supplies.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate inventory records for maintenance parts and supplies.
• Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages or excesses.
• Organize, label, and ensure proper storage of inventory items.
• Track and document inventory movements, including usage and restocking.
• Update and maintain inventory data in the inventory management system.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently.
• High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in record-keeping.
• Familiarity with inventory tracking systems, ERP software, or spreadsheet-based tracking.
• Ability to perform regular cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Basic understanding of maintenance parts and supplies is a plus.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.
• Proactive and self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.

Requirements:

• Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with inventory control or stockroom operations, preferably in a maintenance or industrial setting.
• Familiarity with inventory management software or Excel-based tracking systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Associate degree or technical training in logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control, stockroom, or warehouse operations.
• Prior experience in a maintenance or industrial environment strongly preferred.
• Experience in using inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel is required.
